Macon County Clerk Josh Tanner announced that all registered voters in Macon County will
receive an application for vote by mail in compliance with Illinois State Statute 10 ILCS 5/19-2.5
Voters who wish to vote by mail may use the application to request their ballot for this election
only or all future elections.
Voters continue to have the option to early vote in the County Clerkâs Office or vote on Election
Day at their polling place.
Ballots will be mailed to applicants beginning September 29th, which is also the first day of early
voting. The deadline to apply for a vote by mail ballot is November 3rd.
Ballots must be postmarked no later than November 8th to be accepted, and properly postmarked ballots will be accepted through November 22nd.
