Winnebago County Confirms First Case of Monkeypox
Health officials are confirming the first case of monkeypox in a Winnebago County resident. The individual is currently in isolation and working with the Winnebago County Health Department to identify anyone who may have been exposed to the virus. Monkeypox is not typically deadly but it can be very painful and cause scarring.
