State Fair to feature Discounts on Ride Tickets
As a bonus, the Illinois State fair this year will feature two days when all of the carnival rides are discounted . On August 11th — opening day of the fair in Springfield — all rides will be two dollars. The same discount will apply on August 16th. — all rides will be two dollars. The fair is also offering free admission to certain groups: All veterans and their families on August 14th, all seniors and scouts on August 15th and all first responders and healthcare workers on August 17th with proper ID.
