Federal Reserve Officials Talk Inflation, Future Rate Hikes
More interest rate hikes could be on the table as inflation soars. The Chicago Fed President says he hopes another big rate hike will not have to be necessary. The Fed has been raising interest rates over the last few months in a bid to tame soaring inflation. Speaking to CNBC, San Francisco Fed President Mary Daly noted Americans are still dealing with the effects of high prices. She explained the Fed’s job “is far from done” because things that were affordable six months ago aren’t now.
