Parents Urged To Get Students Vaccinated As COVID Cases Increase
Local health leaders are urging parents to get their children vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to the school year starting. Health officials say the more students that are vaccinated, the safer the environment in schools. COVID-19 cases are on the rise across the state. The latest CDC data shows 50 Illinois counties are currently considered “high” community spread.
