Illinois Providing $75M For Affordable Housing
Illinois is investing in affordable housing. Governor Pritzker and the Illinois Housing Development Authority Board announced awards using 75-million-dollars in federal funds to provide financing and complete underwriting for affordable housing developments that may not have been built due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The IHDA is providing grants to 19 affordable developments across Illinois that will create or preserve more than one-thousand units of affordable housing.
