Lanes Opening Where Possible In Illinois For Memorial Day Travel
A large number of lanes that have been closed for construction in Illinois will reopen for the Memorial Day weekend to minimize travel disruption. Non-emergency closures will be suspended from 3 p.m. today to 11:59 p.m. Monday night. For lanes that remain closed, drivers can expect delays and should allow extra time for trips through these areas.
