Bill Recognizing Emergency Dispatchers Going To Governor

A bill that will recognize emergency dispatchers as first responders is going to the Governor’s desk in Illinois.  The Senate bill was passed unanimously last Friday.  The bill is partly to attempt to recruit new employees to become emergency dispatchers.  This is National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, highlighting work done by emergency dispatchers.
