Sewer Work to Close Jasper St Underpass Thursday

City crews will be working on sewer cleaning and maintenance on the N. Jasper Street underpass, between E. Sangamon St. and N. Illinois St., beginning Thursday, April 14, 2022. This work will cause the closure of the north bound and south bound lanes to the N. Jasper St. underpass, starting at 7:30 a.m., Thursday, April 14, 2022, and will continue to approximately 3:00 p.m.   Detour route for south bound traffic will be as follows:  E. Grand Ave to N. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. to Eldorado Stand the detour route for north bound traffic will be as follows:  Eldorado St. to N. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. to E.
