Avian Flu Confirmed In Backyard Birds in Central Illinois

Agriculture officials are confirming that the Avian flu was found in birds in central Illinois.  The so-called “bird” flu was discovered in a non-commercial backyard flock of non-poultry in Mclean County.  Anyone that owns birds or is involved with poultry production, should be aware of this finding and take precautions to protect their flock.
