Illinois’ Top Doctor Is Reportedly Sought By Chicago Health System

Outgoing Illinois Health Department Chief Doctor Ngozi Ezike is expected to get a job offer.  The Sun-Times reports that a local public radio station has learned that Sinai Chicago is looking to hire her as president and CEO.  Doctor Ezike, who helped lead the state through the COVID-19 pandemic, announced last week that she is stepping down on March 14th.   Reports say the Sinai board of directors has been authorized to negotiate an offer with Ezike.
