Governor Pritzker is denying any conflict of interest with his blind trust. The Better Government Association released a report revealing that the blind trust set up to manage the governor’s wealth bought stock in one of the state’s biggest Medicaid contractors in 2020. The investment collected more than two-point-six-billion-dollars from state Medicaid contracts in the first half of 2021 alone. Pritzker said there were no conflicts of interest because he wasn’t involved in making any investment decisions.
