The attorney who has led legal challenges against Governor Pritzker’s pandemic policies is seeking the Republican nomination for Illinois Attorney General. Thomas DeVore announced his candidacy on a Facebook video Monday. DeVore filed the lawsuit that led the Illinois Appellate Court last week to reject Pritzker’s appeal of a lower court ruling that lifted his school masking policy. The governor has appealed the appellate court ruling to the Illinois Supreme Court.
