Governor Pritzker Pushing For DCFS Protection

Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker is announcing his support for a new bill protecting DCFS workers.  The bill would increase protections for Department of Child and Family Services workers, giving them the same protection under Illinois law as first responders.  The announcement comes days after DCFS worker Deidre Silas was stabbed to death during a home visit in Thayer, Illinois.
