Illinois Offering Smart Health Cards For Vaccine Verification

Illinois is now offering Smart Health Cards as part of its COVID-19 vaccination portal.  The card allows users to download a QR code, which can be used to confirm their vaccination status at businesses, events, and other locations.  Officials say the verification system follows the best practices to protect confidential health information.
