Illinois Pounds Missouri in Braggin’ Rights Game

Illinois hammered Missouri 88-63 in St. Louis. Kofi Cockburn scored 25 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for his fifth straight double-double. It was the 35th double-double of Cockburn’s career, fifth all-time for the Fighting Illini. Cockburn came into the game averaging 21.4 points per game. The Fighting Illini move to 9-and-3 on the season and are now off until next week.
