A state lawmaker is ending his pursuit of a bill that would require unvaccinated Illinoisans to pay for their own COVID-19 health care expenses. State Representative Jonathan Carroll says he made the decision due to the unintended divisive nature of the legislation he filed earlier this week. The Northbrook Democrat added the he and his family have received violent threats.
