We are excited to share that the annual WAND Spirit of Giving Toy Drive raised over 7,400 toys today for Toys for Tots! The toys collected benefit Toys for Tots and will go to the Salvation Army to be given to families in the Macon County community. The exact collection tally for 2021 was 7,404 toys.
This is the 13th annual Spirit of Giving Toy Drive with Toys for Tots. It is something that we look forward to helping with every year and we are grateful to be a part of it! We’re not the only ones in the community that feel this way. We were surprised by local groups such as Decatur Firefighters Local 505, Decatur Transit, and more!
Thank you to everyone who donated to Toys for Tots. This event would not be what it is without our partners at WAND, all of the wonderful volunteers, and you. Thank you for making a difference for local kids this Christmas!
