State Representative Dan Brady has become the first Republican to run for Illinois Secretary of State in next year’s election. The lawmaker from Bloomington announced today that he’s officially entering the race. Incumbent Jesse White is not seeking reelection. Four Democrats have already announced their candidacy for the June 28th primary election.
