New Illinois Law Creates Incentives For Electric Vehicle Manufacturing

A new Illinois law is providing incentives to companies manufacturing electric vehicles.  Governor JB Pritzker signed the Reimagining Electric Vehicles in Illinois Act into law yesterday while in Belvedere.  Pritzker says the law is a step towards the administration’s benchmark of putting one million electric vehicles on the road by 2030.  The governor says the new incentives will create help toward building facilities, training Illinois graduates, and creating thousands of jobs.
