Plaintiffs File Legislative Maps

Plaintiffs challenging the Democrats’ legislative maps have filed their proposed changes to a panel of federal judges. Wednesday’s filings came separately from Republican legislative leaders, the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund and the East St. Louis Branch of the NAACP, and provides the court suggested new boundaries creating more majority-minority districts. The next hearing in the case is on Dec. 6.
