Domestic Violence Deaths Increasing In Illinois

Domestic violence deaths are on the rise in Illinois.  The Illinois Coalition Against Domestic Violence announced Sunday that nearly 80 people died from domestic violence in the 2021 fiscal year.  The number includes 12 victims who were under age 18.  The ICADV says the increase in domestic violence-related homicides is associated with the rise of victims who sought assistance to end domestic violence in their lives.
