State Health Leaders Remind Residents Of Getting Both Flu And COVID-19 Shots

The state Department of Public Health is urging residents to get a flu shot while also getting the COVID-19 vaccine.  Illinois Health Director Doctor Ngozi Ezike says if you haven’t had the shot for the virus vaccine or booster you can do that as well.  Doctor Ezike added that it’s important to get both vaccines to avoid a double dose of dual infections.
