Legislators are expected back in Springfield next week for the fall veto session. The six-day session begins Tuesday. The legislature will consider newly drawn congressional district maps, as well as a correction to the clean energy bill that was passed last month. The change would ensure the four-thousand-dollar rebate for buying an electric car applies to all of Illinois. Another topic on the table is the state’s parental notification law for teens seeking an abortion.
