An Illinois agency is receiving funds to use to help nonprofits statewide. The Northern Illinois Center for Nonprofit Excellent has received a 250-thousand dollar grant to continue building 81 Thrive, a program intended to help stabilize agencies set back by the pandemic. State Senator Steve Stadelman helped secure the funding, which will help strengthen 100 nonprofits.
