ICCB Unveils Program To Help Community College Students To Earn Degree

A new program is underway that makes it easier for junior college students to get a four-year degree.  Illinois Community College Board Executive Director Brian Durham says the Saluki Step Ahead initiative will help students who can’t go away to school.  The program allows students graduating with an associate’s degree to automatically jump into one of six online bachelor’s programs at SIU-Carbondale.  Degrees offered include accounting, business administration, psychology, and health care management.
