The Decatur Area Arts Council has announced the 4th annual community art project Christmas Card Lane this holiday season. It is an outdoor exhibit/competition comprised of larger-than-life ‘greeting cards’ created by local artists and community groups.
DAAC will provide a 4’ x 6’ sheet of plywood (primed with white paint). Artists must provide all other supplies/materials needed to create their design.
The finished cards will be displayed in downtown Decatur (300 N. Water St.) from November 22 to December 31, 2021. The community will be invited to vote for their favorite card designs and cash prizes will be awarded to the top three designs. For more information go to decaturarts.org
