The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is set to get millions in state and federal funds through the Rebuild Illinois capital plan. Governor Pritzker announced yesterday that the university will be receiving 140-million dollars in state funds and 52-million in non-state funds. The governor was joined by University of Illinois System President Tim Killeen, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Chancellor Robert Jones, and other stakeholders at a back-to-school event. Pritzker announced plans to invest in new facilities and campus renovations.
