Governor Signs New Student Mental Health Awareness Bill

Governor J.B. Pritzker is signing a new law to raise mental health awareness in Illinois schools.  State Representative Janet Yang Rohr says the bill requires ID cards for children in sixth and 12th grades, and colleges will have information for those who are struggling.  The idea for the law was brought to Representative Rohr by students at Naperville Central High School.  The bill takes effect next summer.
