Duckworth, Durbin Want Safe Return Of Kidnapped Illinoisan Prioritized

U.S. Senators Tammy Duckworth and Dick Durbin are calling on the Biden Administration to prioritize the safe return of an Illinoisan kidnapped in Afghanistan.  Duckworth and Durbin wrote President Biden yesterday asking intelligence officials to meet and develop a strategy to secure the release of Mark Frerichs.  The U.S. Navy veteran was abducted last year by the Taliban while working in Kabul as a civil engineer.  Duckworth is a combat veteran of the Iraq War.
