Monticello Park To Be Named For Fallen Officer

Monticello is naming a park after fallen Champaign Police Officer Chris Oberheim.  Oberheim lived in Monticello with his family, and city officials passed yesterday’s resolution as a way to honor him.  Oberheim was killed in the line of duty in May.  The park will be near Green Apple Lane and Route 47.
