Multiple Tornadoes Confirmed In Illinois

The National Weather Service is confirming that multiple tornadoes touched down in Central Illinois.  The NWS says five tornadoes touched land between Friday night and Saturday afternoon in Mahomet, Cisco, Danforth, Downs, and Chatsworth.  The Danforth Tornado was rated the strongest in the series of storms, with an EF1 rating.  The Downs tornado hasn’t been rated.
