Illinois is a step closer toward moving or expanding Martin Luther King Jr.’s statue at the state Capitol. Lawmakers heard from a state task force that is looking to upgrade the statue. Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White says the first step is hiring a good artist and seeing what their plans include.
