Illinois Association Of FFA Holds First Ceremony Of State Convention

The state convention of the Illinois Association of Future Farmers of America is underway.  The organization held its first ceremony yesterday at the Cornbelters Corn Crib in Normal to honor award-winning students in districts one and two.  Award-winners in district five will be honored Friday, and those in districts three and four will be honored next Wednesday.  Over 15-hundred students, guests, parents, and teachers are attending the in-person convention.  Last year’s event was held virtually because of the pandemic.
