Over 177-Thousand Raised For Oberheim Family Through GoFundMe

The family of fallen Champaign Police Officer Chris Oberheim is getting some much needed support.  As of Thursday morning, more than a thousand people have donated over 177-thousand dollars to a GoFundMe page set up several days ago to benefit Oberheim’s family.  Oberheim was gunned down last Wednesday morning in a shootout with a suspect in a domestic disturbance.  The suspect died at the scene.
