Governor JB Pritzker says the state is offering one billion dollars for infrastructure projects through the Rebuild Illinois program. It is the largest restructuring investment in state history. Governor Pritzker adds that Rebuild Illinois grants have also gone to local work, including bike paths, storm sewers, and traffic signal upgrades. An additional 500 million dollars will be awarded under the program.
