Fallen Officers Honored At Memorial Service

Fallen law enforcement officers are being honored with a memorial service.  Dozens of law enforcement officers and families from across the state gathered in Springfield recently to pay tribute to officers who have died while on duty over the last two years.  Last year’s service had to be canceled because of the pandemic.  Those participating say the typically annual experience is a way to honor those lost and provide comfort for survivors.
