If everything goes well, Illinois will fully reopen in about a month. Governor JB Pritzker yesterday said the state will move to the ‘bridge phase’ of reopening next Friday May 14th. He says the state’s coronavirus numbers are low enough, and the state vaccine count is high enough. Moving into the ‘bridge phase’ of reopening starts a 28-day clock on a full reopening. The governor says that means Illinois could be back to normal by June 11th.
