The Macon County Health Department is holding a Moderna COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic on Tuesday, March 30th at Richland Community College at the National Sequestration Education Center, 3357 N. President Howard Brown Blvd., near the wind turbines. This clinic is open for those who live or work in Macon County; are 18 years old or older; and who wish to receive their FIRST dose of the vaccine.
Eligible persons can call (217) 718-6205 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. today (Monday, March 29th), or visit https://bit.ly/31oCYZY to schedule an appointment. Persons who book an appointment must be able to come back on Tuesday, April 27th for their second dose.
Before arriving to the clinic, please take your temperature and screen yourself for COVID-19 symptoms. If you have a temperature greater than 100.4 degrees, are experiencing any symptoms or signs of illness, are awaiting a COVID-19 test result or have been identified as a close contact of a positive COVID-19 case, do not attend the clinic. Please bring a photo ID to verify age eligibility and your current insurance card or red, white and blue Medicare card.
