Illinois State Board of Education Awards Grants to Recruit More Teachers

The Illinois State Board of Education has awarded one-and-a-half million dollars in grants to help recruit more teachers across the state.  The grants are going to ten regional agencies to recruit instructors at high schools and vocational centers in Illinois.  The funds will also go toward increasing diversity among teachers.
