2021 Makers Madness Contest Voting Underway

Voting is now open for the 2021 Makers Madness contest.  The contest is sponsored by the Illinois Manufacturers’ Association and is a bracket-style tournament. Voters across the state will help decide in each round what will ultimately be declared the Coolest Thing Made in Illinois.  Over 300 products have been nominated for the honor, with first round voting to determine the top 16.  This is the second year for the contest, which concludes March 24th with the announcement of the winner.  The 2020 winner was Caterpillar’s 797F Large Mining Truck made in Decatur.
