U.S. Attorney for the Central District of Illinois, John C. Milhiser, is stepping down. It is typical that with a new presidential administration, appointees from the previous administration resign their offices. That is the case with Milhiser, as the Biden administration formally asked Trump-era U.S. attorneys to step down. Milhiser’s resignation takes effect February 28th.
