State Warns Residents About Winter Weather Conditions

Most of Illinois is getting hit with snow, sleet, ice, and rain.  State Department of Transportation spokesperson Paul Wappel says conditions can change quickly so it’s best to be prepared.  He also warns residents about the bitter cold temperatures on the way.  Wappel added that it’s good to dress in layers and cover your ears, forehead, and lower part of your face because those areas are likely to take on frostbite.
