Illinois Governor JB Pritkzer says the state is behind in getting coronavirus shots into people’s arms because there are not enough shots and because Illinois is a big state. Republicans at the statehouse yesterday sent a letter to the governor, demanding to know why Illinois is near the bottom of the list of states when it comes to coronavirus vaccinations. Governor Pritzker said supply problems are hampering the effort, and said he is trying his best to have an equitable and open vaccination program. Illinois is ranked 47th in the nation in per-capita vaccinations.
