Illinois National Guard Sending 500 Troops To D.C. For Capitol Security

Illinois is sending its National Guard troops to Washington, D.C. to secure the Capitol. Commanders said 500 Illinois guardsmen are heading out. There is no word on how long they will be gone. Thousands of troops are being kept in Washington, D.C. after Capitol Police failed to secure the Capitol building earlier this month.
