Authorities Investigating Shooting in Hammond

Authorities are investigating a shooting in the village of Hammond.  A 64-year-old man was found shot to death early yesterday morning at a home in the 400 block of South C Street.  The death is being investigated as a homicide by the Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation, along with the Piatt County Sheriff’s, Coroner’s, and State’s Attorney’s Offices.
