Due to high demand, the line for the MCHD Drive Through Vaccination Clinic at Progress City is now closed. Initially scheduled for 9am to 3 pm, over 300 vehicles were reportedly already in line for the vaccine before 6:30 Friday morning. The Health Department released the following statement at 9am;
“Due to the number of vaccines administered and the number of eligible recipients currently in line, the Progress City vaccine clinic is now closed.”
In an earlier release, the MCHD wants to remind residents that the Health Department and their community partners will continue to schedule vaccination clinics over the next several weeks and months, including clinics to be held on-site at the MCHD.
