Health Department, City Council to Hold Special Meetings Monday

Will they be allowed to re-open or won’t they? That’s the question many bar and restaurants owners in Decatur are wondering on this Monday. The Macon County Health Department has scheduled an emergency meeting this afternoon to discuss that topic. Meanwhile, the Decatur City Council has also called a special session for 5:30 this evening at the Decatur Civic Center for, according to the meeting agenda,  “The Discussion of Options for Opening Bars and/or Restaurants Closed by the Governor’s Office”
