Illinois’ coronavirus restrictions aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. Governor Pritzker’s office yesterday said they are pressing ‘pause’ on any new mitigations. Most of Illinois’ bars and restaurants are closed for anything but carry-out service, and a large number of businesses in the state remain limited to 25-percent of their customers. The coronavirus numbers in most of Illinois, including the Quad Cities, are improving from November’s peak. The governor’s office says they are waiting to see if there is a post-holiday spike in cases.
