Illinois Coronavirus Recovery Rate 97 Percent

There is some good news in Illinois’ latest coronavirus count. The Department of Public Health yesterday said the recovery rate in Illinois is now at 97- percent. More than 870-thousand people have tested positive for the coronavirus since March, and the IDPH says just over 844-thousand of them have now been declared fully recovered. Illinois crossed another coronavirus milestone yesterday as the state said it has now performed over 12-million coronavirus tests since the outbreak began.
